Hence & Company is a general construction services firm based in Fayetteville, New York, with a primary focus of general construction, rehabilitation and renovation of residential, commercial and municipal properties. Founded in 1998, the firm has provided a broad range of construction services for a growing clientele throughout the entire Central New York area.

At J. Hence & Co., we believe that building a team environment is one of the most important aspects of any project. I want to thank you for taking the time to review this brief introduction to my company and I hope that it provided insight into our core business philosophies. I started in the construction industry in 1986 when I was a junior in high school. My first job was digging ditches for a masonry contractor. It was definitely not then but the jobs that followed that helped me determine that construction was the field I wanted to pursue.
Throughout successive years I had the privilege of working for many skilled people in many different trades, from stone masonry to custom trim work. It was with their   encouragement that I started my own company in 1994 specializing in hardscape construction and site development.   It was that experience and a work ethic I attribute to many, that led to the founding of J. Hence & Co. Inc. in 1998. I firmly believe that we offer unsurpassed quality in our field and that our employees are second to none.
